She loves her sister!

Totally Kaitlyn!!

Well, I thought it was about time that Kaitlyn had her own post. Kaitlyn is our rambunctious three year old. She is the middle child and doesn't get as much "face time" as the other two. Kaitlyn is camera shy and it takes awhile to get her personality to shine through. She loves her sisters and is such a cutie we love her so much! Kaitlyn got screened for preschool yesterday and to mom's surprise she probably will not qualify. Now that sounds bad so let me explain. Kaitlyn is very smart and learns very fast, but Kaitlyn is left handed. Well, I have had a tough time teaching her how to write, and well she can't. It turns out that for a three year old Kaitlyn can handle a pencil very well. She can't write her name, but according to the school that comes later. Maybe it was our superb preschool in Pocatello, but Ashley was writing her name by three. So, now you see my cause for concern. As a matter of fact, the screener thinks Kaitlyn will be ahead by the time Kindergarten starts. I am happy that she will be able to stay home and have more "mom time", but I do think she would have benefited socially. I guess that means we need to do more play dates!
