The manly things

This morning during bath time I discovered a little visitor. We live out in the country and mice are to be expected, but so far our cats have done a pretty good job. As I was screaming and scooping him in the bucket (domino was no help), I realized that I have done a number of "manly" things since Kyle has been gone. So here is my list. I have: disposed of a little critter, changed the projector bulb, fixed the garbage can at the barn, successfully removed a bee out of the house, started the sprinklers at the pump (Kyle left me great directions), and shaved the dog. But by far the worst thing I did was to use the 22 and put the kitten out of his misery. We had a little mishap with the 4 wheeler and Jetson is no more. That was especially traumatic for us all. Do keep in mind that it is only Thursday and Kyle doesn't come home until Saturday. I know he is having fun on the high adventure. This calling is a free pass to play!

Very impressive!- Maybe you shouldn't tell Kyle your such a pro at such things- he might find even more for you to do lol!

I liked reading your post! I end up having to do many of those dirty "manly" jobs.
I guess I have learned how to do many things I would have never learned.

But shooting the 22. Now that is impressive. Luckily I have never had to use the gun when Travis was gone.
(But he has taught me how!)

Glad that Kyle will be back tomorrow!

PS
Dealing with Mice is by far the worst thing for me. We have 4 cats. I am not too fond of cats, but they do a GREAT job of keeping the mice down.

I hope you don't have any more minnie or mickeys in your house!

Yes, we have been very busy around here.
Audra, I hadn't thought of that. He probably would have me out running the sprinklers every night. Standing over that hole is not the funnest thing!
For the record, this is our only mouse in this house- so far. I think this is impressive considering our basement.
I do enjoy the 22 for sport- the nasty birds in the backyard. I just never thought it would be used on the girls' cat.
