Happy Birthday Kamryne!
I can't believe my baby girl is one. I have a hard time believing it has been a year. She is getting so big and has the cutest personality. She is a big tease. She is really starting to talk now. She has quite the vocabulary and associates words with things. She can ask for her binky or tell you if she wants more or out. She is getting so tall and has outgrown some of her 12 month clothes. Kami loves Mickey Mouse. She will wake up from being sound asleep if he comes on. Her favorite show is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, which buys me half an hour to shower! For her birthday we did a Mickey theme. We had blueberry pancakes for breakfast (her favorite) and played all day. She had a chocolate Mickey Cake, I found one that didn't contain milk! She also had raspberry sherbet, this was a little harder to find who new most sherbet has milk in it. She enjoyed opening her presents, once she figured out what she was suppose to do. Then she enjoyed playing with the boxes and wrappings! I think Kami had a good day. She really enjoyed all the family that came to see her. I am glad so many were able to come. We missed those that weren't with us though. Her first year started off rough, the cord wrapped around her neck twice and the milk allergy, once we got through those things she turned out to be a very happy girl. She is still so happy and was especially so today. I think her first year definitely ended on a high note. Happy Birthday Kamryne! We love you so much! Our internet is having some issues, once it is fixed I will post a slide show.

Easter Festivities
We had a couple of fun days celebrating Easter. Saturday we got up early and went to the ward breakfast and egg hunt. We were a little late for the breakfast due to the drama around our house. At one point I said "we are not going because everyone is crying!" Everyone ended up having a good time. When we were through there we went to the search and rescue hunt. This one is a free for all. You can have as many eggs as you can get and some have prizes in them. I prepared the girls on the way just in case they didn't grab any. Kami came away with two before she started crying. Those moms are crazy! Kaitlyn picked up four before she became overwhelmed, but Ashley well you can see...

I guess she is a little more aggressive than I thought. She filled her coat, they aren't allowed to use baskets. She also managed to snag an electric guitar and some bubbles. Kaitlyn got some jacks and a water gun. They enjoyed themselves, I was a little shocked at all the greed. Then we came home and did a few things. We finished our eggs and enjoyed some nice weather.
We spent the evening in Rexburg to celebrate Grandpa's birthday. We had some good food and enjoyed playing Cranium with everyone. Devin was nice enough to give the girls giant stuffed animals. Kaitlyn's is a pink and green caterpillar and Ashley's a giant pink bunny. I meant to get pictures. She is so sweet and we are hoping she will be Aunt Devin soon... hint hint James!
Sunday morning the girls wore their Easter dresses grandma bought them. Except Kami who wore her birthday dress. They looked so pretty and we had so much fun with Ashley's hair. We had a nice time at church. I taught my Sunday school class for the first time, 14 and 15 yr. olds, it went well. We then had Easter dinner over at Jen and Brody's. We had so much fun and only came home missing one pair of shoes! We had a fun couple of days. Tonight we are going to do our Easter FHE and talk about the true meaning of Easter. We were so busy we didn't get to it last week. We also have a big birthday coming up tomorrow! Here are two of Kami's birthday photos.

Easter Preparations
We have had another busy week. Monday we did a make up gym and had fun in I.F. hitting a few stores before we grocery shopped. Tuesday we spent more time shopping for a washer. On Wednesday we bought the washer I looked at on Monday and loved, should have bought it then and I would have saved a lot of time. Also on Wednesday, me and Kaitlyn went in and got our hair cut. She cut it shorter than last time, but not as short as she wanted it. She wants to cut it about two inches long. I asked why one day and was a little surprised by the answer "mom then I will look like a boy, and I want to look like a boy". I shouldn't be surprised since her best friend is a boy. Can we say therapy?...
That evening we spent with Ky's family. Gene has been in town for awhile but this is the first time Sydney has been able to join us. We had fun playing the wii, board games, eating pizza, and just visiting.
The Baldwin girls, minus Anna.

Tonight we dyed Easter eggs. The girls have been looking forward to this all week. However, when I gave Kaitlyn the clear crayon to color with she said "mom I need one I can see!"She used a yellow crayon for hers.

We then disposed of our leftover dye the only way possible- in a snowdrift! We have a bigger one in the backyard but it was a little dark.
And this is what I found Kami doing while we were busy with the eggs. I hope she didn't eat too many! Like father, like daughter!
We have had a fun couple of days and even had the chance to see Sydney one last time. The whole gang came up for lunch today. We had a nice visit. I think the girls are sleeping good, and will (hopefully) be rested for tomorrow. Tomorrow will be just as busy as the rest of the week, maybe busier.
Oh, and I forgot the highlight of our week. Thursday was mom's day in Kindergarten. I had so much fun with Ashley. We had "tea", danced, and ate lunch. It was a nice break to relax and join the Kindergarten life for awhile. I love her so much and love spending one-on-one time with her. She is growing so fast. How many more of these moments will I have?

Ashley
I have lots to post about Ashley today. First, she woke up Wednesday morning with another earache, upon inspection I saw that this one was infected too. So, we went to the doctor and (thankfully) he gave us antibiotics. Both ears are infected and she was wheezy. Now she gets to do breathing treatments for a couple of days. Hopefully, she will feel better soon.Second, I went to parent teacher conferences yesterday. It was a good report, as always. I did get a little surprise though. Ashley is an awesome reader and has picked it up so fast. Well when they were testing for the end of the quarter, Ashley passed off all her Kindergarten words. So, they tested her on the first grade words and she passed all those off. Then they tested her on the second grade words and she knows quite a few! I am so proud of her. She is also excelling in Math, her handwriting could use some work though. She just needs to slow down and take her time. I say she got the handwriting from her dad! It was an awesome report card and we are both looking forward to Mon's day next Thursday!
On a side note, We woke up to tons of snow today, ugh! I am so ready for spring. Will winter never end!!!

30!!!
Okay, so I turned 30 today. It wasn't as hard as everyone said it would be. Truth be told I would rather be thirty then twenty. I am definitely happier and in such a better place now than ten years ago. I did dish it out pretty bad and in return I got dished. I thought it would be worse though. Remember that some of you (KYLE) will turn forty before me! Today was a good day. I "found" two beautiful handmade birthday cards under my pillow this morning, I received some very thoughtful presents courtesy of Ashley, and got to spend the day with the people that mean the most to me. The girls made an awesome cake, strawberry swirl my fave. Kyle made an awesome dinner, bruschetta chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed mushrooms, yum! After dinner we watched Marley & Me, which I have been waiting to see. I loved the book and was so excited about the movie. I did cry, of course, but loved it. I really did have a great birthday, except for the snow, it always snows on my birthday. Here's to turning thirty, the years just get better all the time!
Kaitlyn's layer.
**Okay I have had a few requests for the cake recipe and you can find it at recipeaweekfoodforalifetime.blogspot.com or Pam's Recipe Blog. Just look under the February entries and look for Strawberry Swirl Cake. I didn't even post pictures of the inside, so yummy!

Eleven Years
We celebrated eleven years yesterday. Wow I can't believe it has been that long. Sometimes it feels like yesterday, and other times like we have been married forever. When I got up I looked out the window and had a good laugh, it was as cold and brown as the day we got married!
We went to the IF temple (where we got married) and to my delight we were even able to do sealings. We then went to Ruby River Steakhouse where Kyle very much enjoyed his steak, yum. I think we could eat there all the time. I have the most wonderful husband in the whole world, it has been a great eleven years! I look forward to many more!
A big thanks to Briant and Missy who took the kids and wore them out, or the kids wore them out!
