We are very big on traditions around here and Christmas Eve is probably the biggest one of all. We try to make the day about Christ since the next day is just presents and greed. We have some movies we like to watch, we love to sing carols and drink cocoa around the tree, and of course stories to read. Well this year was very different. The biggest factor Ash had the stomach flu, she was fine the next day (thankfully) and did not share it with the rest of us. We had Ky's parents up to stay the night and Chris and Chantelle joined us for dinner, Ash was quarantined in my room. We were also suppose to have the missionaries but they cancelled (I don't blame them). We did enjoy having a nice dinner and celebrating Ky's grandfather's 100th birthday (if he were still with us).
We also enjoyed Chantelle and Chris FINALLY sharing their good news! (I was having a hard time keeping this one in)
Lyvi enjoyed the oranges, she LOVES them!
Kami enjoyed the chocolate pretzels I made her!
And enjoyed playing with Chelsea. Chelsea loves Kami, whenever we see her the rest of us get a "hi guys" Kami always gets "hi Kami!!!" They love our girls lunches we do.
We had fun playing some games and visiting.
After all the family time the girls opened their Christmas jammies.
Lyvi was very excited,
to eat her present!
Christmas PJ's
I forgot to get a pic of Ash until the next morning, she still looks very pale.
We never did get to do most of our traditional stuff but we did have fun. I am not sure how much it felt like Christmas eve without The Forgotten Carols, reading the Christmas story, and drinking cocoa.
FYI: Christmas post will be long.
A funny thing happen today, Ky went to deposit money into our account and as he was leaving he looked at the balance it said......$14,000,000.00 - wouldn't that be nice!!! Sadly a simple bank error.
