2nd Half of Summer

I can't believe that summer is mostly gone, the girls are back in school and it is starting to cool off. Summer went so fast and I feel like we didn't do half the stuff we wanted to. Here is what we did do.
We spent some time swimming and hanging out at the fire pit.
Lyvi grabbed a second cookie as they went by, one in each hand.
We had some fun at a party for Mar and Cory. Yep, Ky has a bra on his head!! So awesome!
Mar and Cory had their wedding reception. The barn looked great!
I was pretty happy with the cake. I can always see the imperfections and I know if I wasn't prego it would have been better. Overall, I was pretty happy with how it turned out and more importantly Mar seemed happy with it. The top was strawberry with cream cheese and the bottom white chocolate with strawberry cream filling, it was good. I couldn't keep Ky out of the leftovers! If you did your math right you will realize the middle three layers were fake!
The happy couple.
Lyvi ate her dress all night!
but she was sorta cute!
Me and my sis, ignore the belly ugh!
James and Amanda, we are all hoping they are next!
Lyvi was so crabby by the end of the night.
We had family photos. This is the 3rd family photo I have taken prego or really post par-tum, not advisable!
Our girlies
Ash, can't get hers to turn no matter what I did.
Kaite
Kams
Lyvi on the go like always.
Kaite got her neckgear. This first one was when they placed the bans and had to let them dry.
She is so excited, the retainer comes in 4 weeks.
The girls had their first day of school yesterday.
My little nervous Kindergartener. She did great and had a fun day at school, she can't wait to go back tomorrow!
Kaite in 3rd, the shoes are so her.
Ash is growing right up and in 5th now.
We also went to the summer movies a few times, Lyvi was not good! Went to a few parties, dance clinics, and the carousel. And we spent a ton of time with family. This past week we have got to spend time with Harriet and George before the fly back to SC. The girls have enjoyed all the family time and cousin time they have had. We still have a somewhat mild week ahead before we start the fall schedule for ballet and gym. Kami was so excited to get her ballet stuff the other day. She asks all the time if she can wear her shoes and learn ballet at home. I am excited to see how she takes to this and to see her in her recitals of the Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty. I am trying to get all of Ash's b-day shopping done by the end of the week so that is taken care of. Her b-day is two weeks from today, she is growing up so fast. I am hoping we get to catch up on more fun during spud harvest!
