July Wrap Up

I am not quite sure where July has gone, I am pretty sure I was here for all of it though! This is what we did.
We hit the splash park. The girls had fun and Lyvi chilled on the blanket with me.
Kaite has been playing soccer. She loves it.
Lyvi sucked her thumb during the game, she loves her thumb.
Ky finished finals. We are enjoying his time off until next semester. We have a long list of stuff to get done before he starts back up. Ky did great this semester inspite of all the craziness at home. He did have an awful professor that thanks to his wacky grading scale Ky got a B+ instead of an A- in his class which threw off his GPA and shorted him the full scholarship, now he just gets a partial....oh well.
Here is one of his projects he worked on.
We hit the zoo to celebrate.
KangarooThis guy was right up next to the glass.
Parrot
The new tiger, we got an interesting pic of him I will not post.
Lyvi chilled in her stroller.
I have never seen a duck with a blue bill.
The cats.
The lioness sure looked like she wanted us for lunch.
Tradition.
We have been sleeping in. I woke up to this sight last week.
We have been working on the yard. Kami helped a ton.We got the flower garden wall up, but there is still some dirt to move.
We did some school clothes shopping (and visited the orthodontist). Mar joined us, yes she is blonde again. We hit the new Justice store, one of our new faves. I can't believe that school starts at the end of the month.
I got the new pics up on the wall. The girls look so cute!
This past weekend we had visitors. We blessed Alyvia (more pics of her later). Devin, Julie, their kids, and Mahon stayed with us. Kami and Anna really had a good time together.
We played in the pool.
It took Anna awhile to get the courage to go, but she loved it.
When did Ash start tanning?
We found the girls like this one night after they FINALLY fell asleep. They stayed up both nights visiting, the second night they were so tired but still managed to stay up and talk.
Family pic
Thanks to all who came and joined us on this special day.

Here are some other random photos from this month.

The last couple of days the girls have played in the pool some more and on the slip'n slide. Ash spent a solid 2 days with Kenadee. We went to the library and checked out 21 books at once. I kept waiting for it to say we had reached our limit but nope. And we have been watching the Olympics. I was so happy to watch the "fab 5" take the gold!! Ky knew the results ahead of time and kept teasing me. I just hope August doesn't fly by as fast as July. Although, we do have family coming next week and after they leave George is flying home for a week!! The girls are so excited to spend some time with all their cousins and uncles.
We had one scary experience last week. I went in for what I thought was a fairly routine doc visit and during the ultrasound the PA and NP thought they saw something. I got that look, the look they give you when something is wrong and they don't want to tell you. They said they wanted me to come back the next morning and see the doc. They bumped a bunch of his patients to squeeze me in first thing, and I overheard them say to keep his afternoon open in case he wanted to do surgery. They did tell me that he might want to do a D&C because my uterine lining is really thick. I went home freaked out. My lining is 2cm which is very thick and can lead to uterine cancer. All I could think of is what surgery would they want and need to do that afternoon and why (emergency surgery), I knew the answer. Ky gave me a blessing but I don't think either one of us slept much that night. When we got there the doc asked some very thorough questions and I had lots of attention from the staff, not a good sign. He said that he had been up all night thinking about what could be wrong....great. In the end he said everything looks normal and if everything goes right in the next 2 weeks I am fine. I do have to go back in 6 weeks for another ultrasound. Ky said he was really worried. When we went back in to see Dr. E I was convinced he was going to do surgery since he is so cautious. I am glad he didn't! I am still slightly worried but I feel so much better and I think things will turn out fine.
That was quite a long post!

So scary! I'm glad you are okay! I need to call and get caught up with you! It's been too long. Looks like you guys had just about as crazy of a month as we did! It was fun to see cousins playing together and having so much fun together, wish we could have been there. Andrew is getting to the phase where he needs other kids to play with.... he doesn't know what to do around them!
I know what tiger picture you are talking about!!! Cute picture of Ky napping with his girls!
I wish we had the Olympics! We don't get anything on our antenna out here except PBS! I've been dying to watch them... and for some reason I couldn't even watch them over the internet! So sad.
Love you guys!
