We have been busy doing...

Other than the London posts I haven't been posting much else. We have been so busy around here with everything. The past few weeks the snow has really wreaked some havoc on us. First the power pole started sparking, they were pretty blue sparks! We had to shut everything off and call the power company at 4:30pm on a Friday, thankfully they were able to come. We were glad it wasn't anything too exciting just a loose thingamajig, they tightened it down and we were up and running again in under a half hour.
One Monday morning I woke up at 6:00am to the house shaking, turns out the snow fell off the roof onto the deck. It was about seven feet tall when we got to shoveling it. I wish he would have gotten a pic of me on top, I could have stepped right onto the roof! Ky knocked more off today and now it is a good 6 feet in spots...more shoveling. Also, he fell off the roof today, he is fine. He only fell like four feet because the snow is so tall in the back and landed on his feet, thank goodness!
The snow is also responsible for this. We were watching a movie one night and I started to hear dripping, it is now bigger since Ky was banging on the roof. The other three spots in my house still aren't completely fixed from their leaks over the past two years!
We have had some fun, we made a volcano from plaster.
And set it off, I couldn't find my coloring paste.
Kaite lost a tooth and has two more very loose ones to go!
I got another project crossed off my list. I love this frame, I was so excited when we finally finished it. We are also going to distress my end table and make an entry table, but they are farther down on the list.

We played outside.
Ashley had her first gymnastic meet. She was so nervous, but did great. We had so much fun I think we all enjoyed watching the older girls, especially the level 8 girls.
The handstand contest
They all got trophies and ribbons in their level 3 category. Ash got two red ribbons and two white ribbons. Way to go Ash!! I am still working on that camera.
This is here first vault

Here is her bars routine, the practice run

Ash on the beam

Ash's floor routine. She had this down and practiced so hard, but she got nervous she still did good though!

We also had a meeting about the barn this week, that has taken a good chunk of time out of my schedule. We have had to gather up so much information, but everything went well except that they tabled us for another night. The meeting went six hours by the time we were done presenting our case, so they will discuss it and make their decision another night. A big thanks to all those who came and supported us and stayed the six hours, you were all awesome!
Last Saturday we spent some time with Harriet and George and others. We had their luncheon/reception thing and had fun seeing everyone we haven't seen in awhile. I had forgotten that the girls hadn't seen Harriet since August- wow! We had a fun day, the girls didn't want to come home!
I have also been watching Ben and spending time choreographing Ash's dance for her school play. Thanks to Marianne, it is of course ballet the only dance I don't know! But Mar has really helped and between the two of us we are almost done. Now I have to teach the girls! My next six weeks have already filled up and I know more things will pop up as time goes by...crazy!
