8 Month Old

Kenzey celebrated 8 months the other day. She is growing up so fast! She weighed in at 15.6 lbs. She loves to walk around holding onto your fingers. She also loves to sit and is so close to crawling. Kenzey has been busy with a lot of firsts this month. She said "mama" then "dada", spent her first night in her crib, went for her first carousel ride, went camping, visited Yellowstone and Bear World, and went swimming at an outdoor pool. Kenzey is really enjoying new things. She just loves to go places and is so good I can take her anywhere. She loves food and wants whatever we are eating. She expresses herself and will let us know what she wants and what she doesn't. She loves bath time and screams when I take her out of the tub. She hates her crib, we waited longer than normal to move her over because I was worried she would wake up Lyvi. I think we may have waited too long, she screams when I put her in it. She was sleep trained and everything, now she either cries herself to sleep or I have to put her to sleep then lay her down. Kenzey will protest if Lyvi takes something away from her, but she sure loves her sisters. I love how her face lights up and she just dances in her seat when I come into the room! She is such a mama's girl! She is so fun and it is neat watching her personality flourish! Loving this little girls so much!!!

Summer Part 1

Here is the first part of our summer. As always we have been super busy, but I think things are slowing down a bit.

Ky celebrated a birthday, we rounded up a bit! He bought pony paper last time I asked him to get birthday paper....so that is what he got!

We had Father's Day, complete with pics of Ky and the girls.

We had four weeks of swim lessons, so glad to be done! Ash and Kaite were in the same class this year, don't know if that was good or bad.

I had to come up with a creative way to keep Lyvi in her stroller, a carabiner seems to do the trick.

We got a new puppy, meet Zoey. She is so sweet and fun. She is half German Shepard half lab/border collie.

Ky finished the dog pen right before we got her. We have had to reinforce the top, Sam CLIMBED out twice.

We played with friends. So glad Lily could visit while she was in town.

Lyvi FINALLY grew some hair!

Celebrated the 4th

Kaite was in the parade again (she was with the cheerleaders this year). She is trying out cheer for the summer.

First fourth for this one. She loved it, and even slept through the fireworks.

Rode the carousel (Kaite in the back). Lyvi loves the "horsies" this year.

Had a family reunion with Ky's family.

We celebrated Chayce's first birthday together.

We have had a fun first half of summer. The second half won't be as busy, just more fun! Can't believe school starts in a month, ugh!
