I haven't been very good about blogging lately. I seem to have my hands full all the time and more things on my plate than I can handle. Five kids are a TON of work, but really I think it is just the personality of each one that contributes to things. Lyvi is at the cutest age. She is so fun, but she is also so incredibly mischievous! She is such a smart little girl and just has to be busy all the time, she is always on the go. Kenzey is a nice sweet laid back baby. She really is the best baby, but she wants to be held all the time. I would love to just sit and hold her, but enter Lyvi! Lyvi has learned to time her biggest mischief when I am feeding Kenzey. Most days I am happy to just get through the day in one piece! These two are keeping me hopping, and then add the other three and their extracurricular activities...
Here are some fun pics to try and catch up with what we have been doing.
Always busy with something!
pony tail, I know sad but at least I can put one in!
watching for daddy to come home
Ky's diplomas came in the mail, it is official.
lots of playing outside = lots of hot cocoa
big smiles
and talking
I got all 5 of them up on the wall now!
Ash got a haircut awhile ago, Kaite got one today but no pics of her yet.
my cute chunky monkey!
Lyvi is learning to like the snowmobile.
Kaite has had some gym meets. This one she finished 8th all around (team took 3rd).
Their leos are super cute.
This meet she took 10th all around (team took 2nd). Her coach said she is doing really well, especially considering some of the girls she is competing against have been there 3 yrs.
Kami came with me to watch one meet, she got bored.
She loves my chilli!
more smiles
Valentine's Day breakfast, Kaite told me she liked this better than my pink-heart shaped pancakes.
double stroller and two cribs.....never thought that would happen.
And I know Lyvi is supp to go in the back, but nope that won't happen. The back seat reclines and Kenzey doesn't care if she can see.
dog derby.
Snow-shoe races. Kami's first time racing.
Kaite tied for first with a boy from Ash's class who started to early. She was bummed she didn't all out beat him.
Ash thought she was running in the next race and got out late.
mutt pull
This was the first time for all the girls. They want to bring Sam and let him pull the sleds, he would go crazy!
Kaite loved every minute of it!
just being silly
trying on dad's socks
100 yr old woman for the 100th day of school.
Kaite had a report on Sacajawea. I didn't think about making her boots brown until the morning of, she loved it anyway.
Things really have been crazy around here. I really can't believe how much more work 5 kids is vs 4. I am just taking it one day at a time, I know it does eventually get better/easier!
Also, Lyvi has decided to potty-train. I am not ready for that, it is so much work! However, she tells us when she has to go (and can even hold it some) so now we are working on that too. I have started taxes and we are still working on finishing up the basement. We are hoping to have that done before we start the garden and outside stuff. I don't think it will ever slow down for us! I gave up on Christmas cards, never got the letter finished. I also never got a 2013 blog wrap up done, don't see that happening anytime soon either! I am trying to enjoy these moments with them, I know how fast they grow up. They are all just so dang cute! I think we will keep them!
