Halloween Activities

I felt like Halloween came really fast this year and was kind of a whirlwind. We had some fun activities here are the pictures.
This is from the daddy-daughter activity party. I laughed when Ky walked in, he looked awesome! He did his own make-up since I was busy setting up.
These are from the school carnival the next night.
I think Kaite is such a ham, I love how serious she is! Always in character.
Ash was a pretty bee.
Nobody recognized Kami and the green was so hard to get off her face! She looked kind of sick for a few days afterward!
This is the 6 month costume since Lyvi was too small to fit into the 1 year butterfly costume. She smeared her make-up right after this!
We did face painting.
seriously always in character!
The girls had so much fun as always. The fog machine set off the fire alarm and added some excitement to the night.
Last Sunday was the primary program. My girlies did so good.
This was Ash's last program since she will be 12 next year.
We carved pumpkins that night.
Ky's mom helped Lyvi with her pumpkin.
Genevie found these super cute kits and they worked out great for the little ones. Kami loved her spiders.
The pumpkin is almost as big as her!
Our finished products
Ash, Kaite, Alyvia, mine, Ky, and Kami's
We finally got some snow and Kami built a snowman all by herself.
The trunk-or-treat. Ky took them around and I handed out candy. The rain didn't make things fun though.
Such a daddy's girl!
At Chris and Chantelle's, all the kiddos.
Ash looks like she fits in pretty well here!
So cute!
It was a fun crazy couple of weeks and we had tons of fun, but I am glad it is over! The girls are already planning their costumes for next year. I am looking forward to some down time before it gets crazy. I figure once Thanksgiving hits we will be non-stop for awhile between Christmas stuff, parties, dance recitals, Ky graduating, a birthday, and oh yeah a baby!
Hopefully, I will get around to doing a post about Lyvi next week.

More fun and another long post.

It seems I have been seriously slacking in the blogging and picture taking department. There are many times I wish I would have taken more pics of things because you can't ever get those moments back.
So here is to some catch up, if I can remember it all!
Ash had her friends party, it was a slumber party. I only allowed 4 friends, but with my 4 that was 8 girls- that's enough for me!
We stayed down at the barn and they had fun playing the wii and other games. Sardines is always a favorite down there!
They hate when I take their pics dancing!
more presents, don't know if she can get them all in her room!
Lots of pizza and cupcakes!
Lyvi went with the flow and tried to keep up with the older girls.
some of the decorations
The girls got in the hot tub and had a blast (I think it was to cold, Ky had it set at 96).
This is actually the second attempt, they got in the night before right as a thunderstorm started. They had fun screaming and getting rained on, but I think they had more fun the next morning.
Lyvi really enjoyed the balloons!
Ash's birthday dress from where else Justice! I need to get a pic of her after church with her hair done and her sweater on.
We went to the orthodontist and Kaite now has neck gear and a bright pink glow-in-the-dark retainer.
Ash is almost done with her retainer, it is now holding her baby teeth in and the permanent ones are coming in on top of them. She had to go to the dentist and get 2 pulled, 2 more if she doesn't get them out soon! She was numb for hours!! We all got a kick out of it!
I started ordering baby stuff, including Lyvi's new car seat which she is still too small for. She just needs to fit in the next 6 months, I was hoping she would fit before the baby came but she is still hanging out at 17.6 pounds.
blessing dress that I just love.
Lyvi loves to rock her baby.
She knows where her eyes, ears, nose, hair, toes, belly button, tongue, and teeth are.
Chelsea's birthday party, the girls had so much fun.
Lyvi just wanted to haul the kites around.
Couldn't remember if I posted this pic already. We were at Mar and Cory's shower and played an awesome game, yep that is Ky with a bra on his head!!

Lyvi LOVES her daddy!
Ky being silly and imitating Ash. She read a ton for the read-a-thon over spud harvest. She kept taking over the living room though with all her stuff!
My girl is growing up! She loves to ride her bike and dance around the house.
Also.....
We had a good spud harvest. Although, I can't really remember what we did, the girls read lots for the read-a-thon. We had some fun watching movies at the barn with marshmallow popcorn. Kaite got a haircut and Kami split open her hand, it has healed very nicely. Kaite had fun chasing a bird around at ballet. Ash found out she has a lead part in the Nutcracker in her dance. The girls all got their flu shots. We got all the decorations and costumes out for Halloween, Lyvi is too small to fit into the one year old costume...We watched conference and Kaite was the only one to put a rock in the jar all 4 times! I have started some serious Christmas shopping. We bought a new truck (it's just a work truck for hauling wood and plowing and such) can't believe we went so long without one. Ky drives it every chance he gets. I think that about sums it up for now. Honestly, I have been really busy shuttling everyone around and stuff with the barn has been crazy. Also, I have been trying to take it easy when I can. Doc says baby is looking good, still big and I still have hopes they will move my date up. I am not anemic this time yay! But due to all my contractions and rash they are monitoring me more closely now.
I have been working on this post for about a week now so I do want to get it up. I also want to do a separate post on Lyvi. She is really hitting some milestones with her talking and understanding of things, I think that deserves it's own post.

Happy Birthday Ashley!

Happy Birthday to my baby girl! I can't believe it has been 11 years!!!
Time has gone so fast, it really seems like only yesterday that she was born.
We started the day with chocolate chip pancakes with chocolate syrup, yep Ky was in charge of breakfast! I bet their teachers loved us!!

We had her open only one present this year before school and saved the rest for her party, but the one present was full of clothes.
 new scarf
 skirt
and the jeans she really wanted from Justice, there were also some camis in there too.
 modeling!

 ham, and off to school.
After a dinner of stuffed shells (her fave) we had family over for her first party.
More presents
 I love the faces.

Chris and Chantelle gave her a boomerang.
Grandma and Grandpa B gave her a cute sweater from Justice, should have had her model it while they were here. (she has a bright pink cami on underneath)

coat from my family, they were all out of town.

We had cake, she requested the chocolate chip one I made for Ky's bday. She originally wanted a 2 tiered cake with purple fondant with designs on it, this was easier not as pretty but yummy.
Ky said this was a pathetic attempt.
 She loved holding Chayce.
Lyvi was thrilled to spend some time with daddy since he has been so busy.
Growing all up...
Ashley has grown into such a wonderful young lady. I am so proud of her. She is sweet, kind, caring, always including others and she is the best big sister ever! She is always willing to help and is such a tease. I always miss her when she isn't here and our house would not be the same with out her. I love being her mom and I am so glad she is my daughter!
Happy Birthday to my girl!

Friends party tonight, could be crazy!
