Easter activities

So Easter was like a month ago, and I am finally getting around to blogging it. We had some fun time together.

We dyed eggs. This year we tried the "Kool-Aid" method, I wasn't too impressed and I don't think we will do it again, but it smelled good.

This was the first year we didn't have any snow to color when we were done.

We went to the egg hunt. All of the girls were on different fields so I followed Kami. She makes friends wherever she goes.

Ash won the big prize....a bike!

I had just been telling them that I hoped they would win one in the next couple of years, so it was perfect.

Which means we were able to move Kaite up to Ash's bike. Kaite had a hard time with the gears at first, but like always learned to love it.

Then we went swimming. Kenzey loved it (her first time)!

I think Kami had the most fun. She spent all day on the slides and loves that she can go by herself now.

First Easter!

Such a happy baby!

We had a fun weekend together. The girls got some 3D and stunt kites, but we have only been able to fly them once so far. I love when we get to spend time like this.

5 Months

Kenzey is 5 months old today. She has been such a joy in our house, we love her so much! Her personality has really started to come out this month. She is so happy all the time, as long as mom is holding her! She is still putting EVERYTHING in her mouth and will (hopefully) bust out those two bottom teeth any day now. She is getting so chunky and weighed in at 14 pounds today! She loves food. She prefers oatmeal over rice cereal and loves carrots. She gets so excited to eat.

Kenzey is still sleeping through the night great and I am planning on moving her to her crib (hopefully this week) at night. I still haven't figured out nap time with two girls in the same room on different nap schedules. She is getting really good at using her hands and grabs at everything in sight. She has also started to push her walker backward across the floor. She loves to go anywhere and really loves to be outside. She gets so excited to see her sisters when they get home. She is such a social baby and reminds me so much of Ash.

Happy Birthday Kami!

Kami turned six last week. I have a hard time believing she is actually six, she is growing up so fast! Kami is my sweetheart. She has a heart of gold and just loves everyone. She loves to be a big sister and help with both the little ones. Kami holds a special place in my heart. I don't know if it is because she is my first child I got to stay home with, or that I got to spend the most one-on-one time with her, or it is just her sweet spirit but I sure do love that girl! Kami has done very well transitioning from the youngest to the middle child in a year and a half. She really loves to help, but she really loves nap time (for her sisters) so she can have mom time. She is very much a mommy's girl. Kami is loving Kindergarten and is doing so well. She is excited to be a first grader next year, but I will miss her so much! Her favorite color is still orange and she is still my biggest girly-girl ever! Her birthday requests this year were "anything Frozen" and a "Frozen party" (which I am still working on). 4 Months Old

 Kenzey is four months old today. She weighs about 13 pounds (our scale was indecisive) and is 24 inches long. She is our chunky monkey! She is getting her bottom two teeth and is drooling like crazy. She is also putting everything in her mouth! She is constantly trying to chew on our hands, wrists, arms, and any other appendage she can fit in there. She really is the happiest baby ever! She still just loves to be held or talked to, she is very social. Kenzey's personality reminds me so much of Ashley. She loves her sisters very much. She is such a ham and loves to ride in the car. She started rolling over this past month and now will not stay on her tummy at all. She is still sleeping nice long stretches at night and we will be starting rice cereal tomorrow. She is still totally and completely a mama's girl, which I do LOVE! Kenzey really is such a wonderful addition to our home.
