Kenzey McKayla

Kenzey McKayla was born Friday December 13th at 8:15 pm. She was 7 pounds 3 oz and 20 inches long. She was very much a surprise in many ways. I really thought we were done with 4, but nope here she is. Also, the day she was born I had gone in for an ultrasound so they could check her weight and they discovered she was breech. We were suppose to be induced on Monday the 16th and I figured that would change. I was dreading hearing c-section, but by the time we saw the doc she had flipped around. I was dilated to a 3 so he said let's get her out before she flips again. He told us not to go home just go straight to the hospital and he would be right over to break my water. Well by the time I actually got my IV, fluids, epidural, pit, and he made it over it wasn't until dinnertime. But once it was going less than 3 hours of pretty painless labor, can't ask for more than that! I was totally unprepared, my bag with camera were at home, which is why it has taken me so long to post this. Ky took pics with his phone and I have had to transfer and wade through all the photos. It took us quite awhile to name her. In the end Ky suggested Kenzey McKayla since those were the two names we liked the best. She has been a very good baby right from the start. She sleeps and eats great, sleeps 4-5 hours at night, but she does like to be held all the time....we are trying to break her of this.We really couldn't ask for a better baby!
First Picture, I think she looks just like Alyvia.
First bath
She didn't cry much at all until now!
All Cleaned up.
Her sisters just love her. The doc was in the room when they came in and ooohed and ahhed over her, he got a kick out of it.
Lyvi wasn't sure what to think at first.
Now she loves her and tries to help with her. She also cries if Kenzey is crying, it's cute.
She is so sweet and is such a good baby!
Daddy loves her too!
My flowers Ky and the girls brought me, they smelled incredible!
Coming home outfit, she isn't as small as Lyvi but she is still so tiny.
The cutest hat I bought her, it's still too big though.
1 week old, and yes a little bit of hair.
Kami enjoyed the first week home, because she got to hold her as much as she wanted when Ash and Kaite where at school. I enjoyed having Ky here all week, love that he has PTO! He did have finals so it worked out perfect. He studied and helped.....then graduated (more on that later).
Our little stocking stuffer!
We just love her so much!

I am trying to get caught up on everything. I finally got the Christmas cards printed last week and I am hoping to have them done tonight, haha we will see! It has been nice to have the girls home for their break and they have been a big help with the two little ones. I can't believe how fast they are all growing up, Kenzey is already two weeks old!! Ash just comes and takes her from me, she is like a little mother!
We love all our girlies so much!

Happy Birthday Kaite!

My Kaite pie turned 9 yesterday. I can't believe it's been 9 years since she came into our lives. Kaitlyn is my fireball and always has been! She can be so difficult and challenging, but she can also be the sweetest girl ever. Kaite can make me laugh like no one else. She is so inquisitive it drives me crazy at times, but we love her so much!
I see how hard it is to have a birthday in December and so close to Christmas, so we try to make it extra special. We had a ton going on yesterday but we did two parties for her.
She woke up at 6:30 and just sat on the couch (where I found her) waiting until 8 to open her presents. The other girls never would have done that!
Books

 Earmuffs
She wanted these so bad, they look so cute on her!
 new shirts
 new boots
 and a nerf bow.
She loves it! We got her extra arrows and a pack for them. She has been shooting all 27 arrows all over my house the past 24 hours. I was so glad it was a universal one and not just a right-handed bow.
Lyvi didn't like the earmuffs much!
She wanted chocolate chip pancakes with chocolate syrup for breakfast.
We had a party for her at the barn. Four of her friends were able to come, glad it didn't snow too bad.
 They played games
we had presents. Eli photo bombed most of the pics, so funny!

Kaitlyn, Eli, Rylee, Christianna, and Shae
They spent some time throwing the balloons off the third floor.

We had cupcakes, only after I made them did I remember I have a Christmas tree pan-could have made my life easier!
Then we went out to dinner with our families.
too cute and still pretty bald!
 more presents

then we had to head over for the Nutcracker recital.
My two ballerinas and my birthday girl, it was a special night.
It was a long exhausting day for everyone, but it turned out great and she had a good birthday. I can't believe how fast she is growing up! She really has such an awesome personality and just brightens up our house. We love you Kaite!
Happy 9th Birthday Kaitlyn!!!

Halloween Activities

I felt like Halloween came really fast this year and was kind of a whirlwind. We had some fun activities here are the pictures.
This is from the daddy-daughter activity party. I laughed when Ky walked in, he looked awesome! He did his own make-up since I was busy setting up.
These are from the school carnival the next night.
I think Kaite is such a ham, I love how serious she is! Always in character.
Ash was a pretty bee.
Nobody recognized Kami and the green was so hard to get off her face! She looked kind of sick for a few days afterward!
This is the 6 month costume since Lyvi was too small to fit into the 1 year butterfly costume. She smeared her make-up right after this!
We did face painting.
seriously always in character!
The girls had so much fun as always. The fog machine set off the fire alarm and added some excitement to the night.
Last Sunday was the primary program. My girlies did so good.
This was Ash's last program since she will be 12 next year.
We carved pumpkins that night.
Ky's mom helped Lyvi with her pumpkin.
Genevie found these super cute kits and they worked out great for the little ones. Kami loved her spiders.
The pumpkin is almost as big as her!
Our finished products
Ash, Kaite, Alyvia, mine, Ky, and Kami's
We finally got some snow and Kami built a snowman all by herself.
The trunk-or-treat. Ky took them around and I handed out candy. The rain didn't make things fun though.
Such a daddy's girl!
At Chris and Chantelle's, all the kiddos.
Ash looks like she fits in pretty well here!
So cute!
It was a fun crazy couple of weeks and we had tons of fun, but I am glad it is over! The girls are already planning their costumes for next year. I am looking forward to some down time before it gets crazy. I figure once Thanksgiving hits we will be non-stop for awhile between Christmas stuff, parties, dance recitals, Ky graduating, a birthday, and oh yeah a baby!
Hopefully, I will get around to doing a post about Lyvi next week.
