Random Catch-up

Wow, with everything going on around here I have had trouble keeping up on the blog. I just keep adding pics and things to this post, but not actually finishing it, haha. Okay so quickly here is what we have been up to around here in no particular order.
Kami got her red ribbon in gym.
Lyvi learned a couple of new tricks, one is pretty disgusting
(and everyone laughs and encourages it)!

She likes to jump on the trampoline.
Ash had her science fair project, on display golden citrine monoammonium phosphate crystals.
Marianne got married on the beach. I still think it is crazy that my little sis is married. Congrats to her and Cory!
We made a trip to Utah to see our new niece/cousin. Her and Lyvi are 10 months apart but seriously about the same size. And check out all that hair, she has more than all of my girls combined at like 18 months old!!
She LOVED Kami!

All of us after the blessing.
We planted our peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers. The cucumbers went wild, but the tomatoes are really struggling this year.
Found this on my phone. She finally broke all four top teeth through and within about a three day span. She was so much happier after that, Kami had been calling her "grumpy bear".
On our way to Utah we stopped at Hill AFB and saw all the planes with Chris, Chantelle, and Chelsea. Lyvi slept through it.
Here is the SR71 blackbird that Ky really wanted to see. I can't believe how big they all were especially the choppers!
Ash had her tonsils out just over a week ago. She was pretty excited about it, they took them out in 12 minutes. They were also able to knock her out with the gas before starting the IV-lucky girl. She did so well and was wide awake and talking when they wheeled her out of recovery. She has done amazing in her recovery! She is almost back to normal.
Recovering on the couch reading..... and balancing her journal on her head. I think she lived on ice cream for like 3 days! The doc said her tonsils were pretty gross, just like her mom.
Ky started on the trench for the downstairs bathroom, what a mess! He used a jackhammer and made the job so much faster, Lyvi slept through it!!
With the pipe in, it was deep too. I had to tell Kaite not to play in the dirt, not something you should have to say in your own house!
Going under the wall.
It is now buried and we will be covering it with concrete Saturday, yay! I am so ready to get the carpet down in that area!
*Update Ky and Chris got the concrete done on Saturday, yay! No more holes in my basement! Just a few things left to do and the carpet can go down!

Also, I finally got the taxes done and filed!
And I finally joined Facebook, not too impressed so far but I am still learning.
Kaite is performing her dance again on Wednesday, they also performed for Jr. miss, I guess everyone really liked those kittens!!
Ky has his interview with the city today, I really hope that goes well we need him to get this job. He did have some really great interviews with Brighton homes and Headwaters, but those are jobs for after he graduates in December.
It has been a hard weekend with Daisy's passing, I will do a post about her later. We sure loved that dog!
I am sure I have forgotten some things but I would like to post this sometime this century!

11 Months

Lyvi is 11 months old today. She now weighs 16.2 pounds, still very tiny. She is going to be my first baby that we won't get her car seat flipped around at a year. She is still in some 3-6 month clothes and wears an infant size 2 shoe, she really is tiny!!! She is such a busy body, she is into everything and still eats everything (even when you think there is nothing on the floor she finds it). She just cruises around the house and can stand by herself but is afraid to. She is really talking up a storm. Ky taught her how to say "yep" and lately she has been saying "hi" and "bye" to everyone. Lyvi is such a daddy's girl!!!! Her day is better when she gets to see him. She has turned into more of a happy baby since all FOUR of her top teeth finally broke through (she has a total of 6 teeth now). She is still an awesome sleeper and will play in her crib in the morning for like an hour after she wakes up. She is a huge eater! I really don't know how she is so small, she eats so much! This morning she had 3 muffins, half a banana plus her usual big bowl of oatmeal, crazy girl. She still loves her bottle, but with her being so small I don't know if I will push her being completely off it by a year..... She has such a stubborn personality already!!! She is also very good at fake crying if told "no". She is so cute and loves her big sisters so much!

See I have some smiley pics of her!
Love you sweet girl!!

Happy Birthday Kami!

Kami turned 5 yesterday. I can't believe my baby is 5 yrs old. I am not excited for her to start kindergarten, but couldn't wait to send the other two! Kami is my sweetheart, she is just a really sweet little girl. She is a very tender spirit and loves everyone. We hardly ever have to discipline her at all, she is just a really good girl. She is also my very girly girl. She is girly through and through. I have this incredible bond with her (not that I don't with the other three) but we have always been so close. I have always wondered if it is because I didn't work with her like I did with Ash and Kaite, or if it is just her sweet spirit, or it could be that she was my "miracle baby". Kami was in a lot of distress during my labor and was very grey when she was born, her feet were still grey like two hours later.
Anyways, Friday we did her friends party and Sunday was her birthday (swimming this weekend to celebrate).
Here she is in her B-day dress.
Pin the tail on the donkey was a HUGE hit with the kids.

Everything was pink and red for Strawberry Shortcake, Cash and Bryce didn't seem to mind too much!
Cambree, Bryce, Cash, Kami, London, and Madison
Alright, she loved her cake- I did not. Lyvi chose the day I made it to be a royal PAIN. She threw a huge fit in the middle of frosting it and that just threw me off from there.....then later when I was decorating it I forgot to put the stripes on the bottom AND I got lazy and used gum paste instead of fondant. It really was a mess all over, but tasted good (strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting). It's a good thing kids don't care what it looks like as long as it tastes good!
 They played with balloons
 and had a blast.
 Then we opened presents
That night we celebrated with my family at McDonald's and more cake (they were headed to LA the next day for my sis' wedding) and presents.
Sunday morning we woke up and opened more presents. I got some AWESOME deals!
little purse and nail stuff
 new skirt
new shirt and strawberry shortcake bubble bath
 books
 blueberry muffin doll
plum pudding doll with outfits, this completes her set.

 bubble machine

 And her big present

Strawberry Shortcake's berry bitty market with car..... She loved it!
I spent all day today buckling in all her different dolls in that car.
She wanted pancakes for breakfast.
Ky turned on the bubble machine in the house! It was super cold outside though.
 More b-day dress pics
Lyvi was in a good mood despite only sleeping 45 minutes at church (she slept 13 hours last night!)
 modeling her new outfit
more cake with Grandma and Grandpa B.
This was the top layer that got kind of mangled when I pulled it off!
licking her 5
 talking to her uncles
 legos from grandma and grandpa
Kami had a good day. I love what a happy girl she always is!
We love you Kami!
